1908 ~ 2003

A wonderful mother and a great lady passed on today December 29th.

Elizabeth R. (Betty) Youngberg was born in Lund, Sweden, December 14, 1908 to Ingred and Martin Linden.

In 1911 they immigrated to the U.S. with her older brother Roy and sister Ruth. Elizabeth was a God loving, practicing Christian and loved everyone she came in contact with. She became president of almost all the organizations that she joined and her creative flair permitted her to change them for the better.

She married W.H. (Bill) Youngberg in 1928 and together they started Metal Art Co. in 1945. After Bill died in 1982, she continued to run the business until it was sold in 1988.

Elizabeth is survived by a son, W. Ronald (Rory) Youngberg, wife Barbara and Farmor to three grandchildren and two great- grandchildren; also a daughter Dolores (Dee) Plant and Mormor to four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one great- great- grandchild.

Come and help us celebrate her life with experiences you had with Elizabeth at the Evans & Early Mortuary, 574 E. 100 S., Salt Lake City, Jan. 3rd at 11 a.m. The Rev. Richard Minnich and L.O.S. will be officiating. After the service, we will gather for an old Swedish custom of koffee and brodkake.

In lieu of flowers, please make a gift to the Shriners Hospital for Children, Fairfax Road at Virginia St., Salt Lake City, UT 84103 or your favorite benevolent charity. Funeral Directors: Evans & Early Mortuary a Dignity Memorial Provider.
