1948 ~ 2004

Our beloved father and friend, Randall H. Brewster, returned to his Heavenly Father Monday, January 5, 2004 from natural causes.

He was born January 10, 1948 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Kyle and Beth Brewster. Graduated from Viewmont High School in 1966 and attended Salt Lake Community College. Married Timber Ferree November 22, 1967; later divorced. From that marriage came three children, Rachel Miller, Stephanie (Aaron) Rupp and Micah (Chrissy) Brewster and one grandson, Tristan Brewster (awaiting the arrival of his first granddaughter). Early in life Randy realized his interest and love for mechanics and gained a knowledge of automobiles and engine applications. With his extensive knowledge in the steel industry and mechanics, Randy decided to start Fabrication Automotive. He worked for and helped build many local construction companies, one of which was Interwest Construction where he worked as Superintendent/Project Manager over the Crossroads Mall.

Randy is survived by his children and grandchildren; mother; siblings, Nancy Athay, Kyle S. Brewster, Stephanie Whitesides and Crystine (Chuck) West; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Kyle; brother, Kyle S.; sister, Stephanie.

Randy had a genuine love for people. He always made sure those around him were taken care of. Randy has been a true hero to many people who have known him, helping complete strangers get on their feet. He would even give you the coat off his back. He will be deeply missed by all his family including his step-mother, Verline Brewster and mother-in-law, Vilot Hudson. He will also be dearly missed by his close friends who we are deeply indebted to including Charles Theissen, Robyn, Dustin Stieb, and many others. At the very least, "thank you for teaching us the art of patience" - Rachel and Charles.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 1:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where friends may call Friday, 6-8 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to services. Interment, Evergreen Cemetery, Springville, Utah.
