The Girl Scouts of Utah are staging a culinary challenge to local restaurants in the first annual Girl Scout Cookie Dessert-A-Thon.
It will run through Sunday. Each participating restaurant will create a unique recipe, or recipes, for desserts made from Girl Scout cookies and serve them in their restaurants during the competition.
Then, on Sunday at the Girl Scout Cookie Celebration at Girl Scout offices throughout the state, a panel of celebrity Girl Scout cookie connoisseurs will judge the entries and choose the winning chef and restaurant who will win the Top Cookie award.
