Topic: RSS FeedSan Juan plight chilling
Deseret News (Salt Lake City), Apr 5, 2004
As a San Juan County resident and property owner, I find it chilling to hear the plight of Kiley Miller and John Rzeczycki (March 31).
What a shop of horrors. An out-of-the-area motorized recreation group thinks it is entitled to the private property of Miller and Rzeczycki for a recreational event, and my county attorney has chosen to advocate for those recreationists "rights."
These actions seem bizarre, given San Juan County's staunch dislike of government interference. And all this for a frivolous weekend event fueled by the conspicuous consumption of oil.
