Upcoming auditions

Auditions are scheduled for two local stage productions.

"H.M.S. Pinafore," Saturday, 9 a.m.-noon, at the Terrace Plaza Playhouse, 99 E. 4700 South, Ogden. Leslie Richards is directing. All roles are open for men and women, 14 years of age and up. Come prepared to sing 16 measures of an upbeat song. An accompanist will be provided (or bring your own accompanist or CD or tape). Play dates are Sept. 24-Nov. 1 (814-6219 or 393-0070).

"Zombie Prom," Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at StageRight TheaterCompany, 5001 S. Highland Drive. All auditioners are asked to arrive at 10 a.m. and remain until the auditions are completed. Come prepared to sing 16 bars of '50s style music (in the style of "Grease," but not necessarily from a Broadway show). Ken Grazier is directing the StageRight/Wasatch Theatre Company collaboration. Callbacks will be July 20, 7 p.m. Play dates are Sept. 24-Oct. 9. Musicians are also needed (446-5657).
