When she stops to think about it, there is one other way in which her clothes are getting more conservative. Her shirts no longer stick to her stomach, Latham says. They are tailored, but not ultra-tight.

Latham doesn't think teens will ever dress like bankers, actually. She predicts the styles for the coming year will be as "bright and fun" as ever, only perhaps a little less "laid back" than in previous years.
