Fred Temby, executive vice president and chief operating officer at the Newspaper Agency Corp., was named advertising manager of The Blade, a daily newspaper in Toledo, Ohio.
The NAC performs the business, advertising, production and circulation functions for the Deseret Morning News and the Salt Lake Tribune.
Temby will begin his new role on Jan. 3, 2005. Prior to the Blade and NAC, Temby held executive positions for Shurz Communications in Maryland and Indiana. The Blade is owned by Block Communications Inc., which also publishes the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
