Amtrak service will resume
0 Comments | Deseret News (Salt Lake City), Jan 19, 2005
Amtrak's California Zephyr will resume service through Salt Lake City and Provo beginning Jan. 28-29, more than a week later than Amtrak officials previously predicted.
The Zephyr, which provides service between Chicago and the Bay Area of California, has been operating only between Chicago and Denver since last Thursday because of weather-related delays and damages along the Union Pacific-owned railroad corridor.
