First round of financing closed by DirectPointe

LINDON -- DirectPointe said Monday it has closed a $4.5 million first round of financing with Canopy Group.

DirectPointe previously has raised about $1.1 million in an angel round of funding, in which Canopy was a minority participant.

DirectPointe provides subscription-based computing services.
