Deseret News (Salt Lake City), May 15, 2005
The Museum of Utah Art & History, 125 S. Main, will hold a live auction of paintings by major Utah artists Thursday evening. Admission is $10 per person. The event begins with hors d'oeuvres and art preview, 6-7 p.m., with live auction to follow at 7 p.m. Some of the participating artists are Ken Baxter, Michael Coleman, Steve Songer, Gary E.
Smith, Valoy Eaton, Susan Gallacher, Bonnie Posselli, Elva Malin, Frank Magelby, Kent Wallis and more. Auctioneers will be Fred Ball and Robert Olpin. Advanced reservations are suggested by calling 355-5554 before May 16.
