'Business casual' tips

Allstate Corp. is one of many companies that has a dress code defined as "Business Casual."

Appropriate attire:

Slacks

Pants (Dockers style OK)

Sport coats

Blouses

Button-down shirts

Polo shirts

Skirts

Turtlenecks

Sweaters

Inappropriate attire:

Any ripped or tattered clothing

Halters and midriff/crop tops

Tank tops

"Spaghetti strap" dresses/tops

T-shirts

Sweatshirts

Leggings

Shorts

Flip-flops/thongs

Sneakers

Hats

Saggy, baggy pants

Visible undergarments

Jeans are not considered business casual, but departments can declare specific days as "Jeans Days."
