Mary Caroline Heffner Burch 1940 ~ 2006 MESQUITE, NV - Mary Caroline Heffner Burch, age 65, passed away Saturday, January 28, at her home in Mesquite, NV. She was born Feb. 9, 1940 in Salt Lake City, UT to Wilson O. and Verda Yardley Heffner. She married Hilton Kent Burch on June 17, 1960 in Beaver, UT.

Mary was raised in both Beaver and Salt Lake City, UT. After getting married, Mary and Kent settled in Bountiful, UT and lived there for 35 years. Mary worked for AT&T for 23 years. Upon retiring, Mary and Kent moved to the warmer climate of Mesquite, NV. She enjoyed the time she spent at Lake Powell, at their cabin and traveling the world with Kent. She loved spoiling her grandchildren and especially making quilts and princess dresses for her granddaughters. She is survived by her husband Hilton Kent Burch, Mesquite, NV; her children, Kristin Jones, Salt Lake City, Michael Burch (Joy), Kaysville; Brent Burch and Gary Archuleta, Santa Rosa, CA; her grandchildren Nathan, Joshua, Justin, Mycol, Alix; and her sister Jean Kirkham, Cedar City. Preceded in death by parents Wilson O. and Verda Yardley Heffner; sister, Helen Heffner; brother Baby Heffner. Viewing to be held, Tuesday, January 31, 2006, 6:00 - 8:00 pm (PST) at Virgin Valley Mortuary, Mesquite, NV. Services to be held, Thursday, February 2, 2006, 1:00 pm (MST) at Olpin-Hoopes Mortuary, 288 N. Main St., Heber City, UT. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
