Corda Technologies Inc. appoints president-CEO

Salt Lake-based Corda Technologies Inc. said Tuesday that John Purvis has been appointed president and chief executive officer.

The company's founder and former CEO, Neal Williams, will remain as chairman of the board and also become chief operating officer.

Purvis has more than 25 years of experience in high tech, including executive positions in software research and development, sales, services and marketing at NCR, Unisys, Silicon Graphics and Oracle Corp. He recently was executive vice president of worldwide sales for Encover.
