Colorado-based oil company expands interest in Utah

Colorado Wyoming Reserve Co. said Tuesday it has acquired a 42.5 percent interest in an additional 6,000 acres underneath and bordering its existing oil exploration area in southeast Utah.
Terms were not disclosed.

The company, based in Grand Junction, Colo., said its acreage position in the area is now 22,640 acres. The company expects to have three test wells in the area in 2007.
