Author to give lectures on humor, mysticism

MIDVALE -- The Salt Lake Church of Religious Science, 870 E. North Union Ave., Midvale, will feature "Remember to Laugh: On the Healing Power of Humor" Sunday at 10 a.m., repeated at 11:30 a.m.
Jon Mundy, an international author, lecturer and stand-up comedian, will speak on humor.
The service is free and open to the public.
Also Sunday, Mundy will present a workshop entitled "What is Mysticism? Comparing the Insights of the Mystics with the Teaching of A Course in Miracles," from 1:30-5 p.m. Suggested love offering for the workshop is $35, although no one will be turned away.
