Murray Energy acquires all shares of Andalex stock

Cleveland-based Murray Energy Corp. said Wednesday it has acquired all the shares of common stock of Andalex Resources Inc. and its four subsidiary companies from Andalex Hungary Management LLC.
Terms were not disclosed.

The former Andalex properties will be owned and operated by Murray Energy's subsidiary, UtahAmerican Energy Inc. The new UtahAmerican properties are three underground coal mines and a transloading facility in Carbon and Emery counties. Two of the mines are co-owned with the Intermountain Power Agency, which operates a power generation plant in Delta.
