Voyager receives funds to purchase Draper firm

Las Vegas-based Voyager Entertainment International Inc. said Tuesday it has received $1.25 million that will be used to facilitate the purchase of Western Architectural Services, based in Draper.

Voyager said it expects an additional $1.3 million by the end of the third quarter.

Western Architectural is an operating company that has contracts throughout the United States, including as general contractor for Rockwell Estates, a $36 million residential housing development in Draper. It will have 57 units. It also has supplied pre-fabricated products to the hotel and casino industry, including iconic statues, interior resort theming and construction-related materials and services.
