Eric Youngberg, Mapleton, will get a chance to complete his long- delayed graduate degree as recipient of the annual $5,000 MBA scholarship awarded by the University of Phoenix Utah Campus and The Enterprise.

Youngberg graduated from Brigham Young University in 1979, but his dream of obtaining an MBA was put on hold in 1991 due to family health challenges and career obligations. He currently works as an engineer for Varian in Salt Lake City.

He was honored by Gov. Jon Huntsman Jr. in a ceremony Thursday.
