OxyContin robber hits Brigham pharmacy

BRIGHAM CITY -- A robber who told pharmacy workers he had a gun got away with more than 300 pills of the narcotic painkiller OxyContin Monday, Brigham City police said in a press release.

A white male entered Brigham City Community Pharmacy at 1017 Medical Drive about 9:20 a.m. and demanded drugs. Following the robbery, he left on foot headed east on Greenwood Drive.

No security video was taken of the robbery, but witnesses told police the man was about 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighed about 165 pounds and wore a dark blue or black hooded sweatshirt and dark pants as well as sunglasses and black and red gloves. They also said he was missing several teeth.

Brigham City police responded to the scene but were unable to find the robber. Anyone with information should call Brigham City police at 435-734-6650.
