First Consulting Group to acquire Zorch of S.L.

First Consulting Group Inc. of Long Beach, Calif., announced Monday the acquisition of Salt Lake-based Zorch Inc.
Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
Zorch has built proprietary software to provide regulated content management and collaboration for the life sciences industry. First Consulting said in a press release that the new offering acquired by FCG will be named FirstPoint.
FCG is acquiring 100 percent of the outstanding equity of Zorch for a lump sum cash payment. Zorch stockholders may earn additional consideration for the sale if the business achieves certain revenue and earnings targets during a four-year earn-out period.
