Car-seat group plans fund-raiser Wednesday

Rosey's Car Seats for Kids will hold a fund-raiser at Park City's Farmer's Market, 4000 Canyons Resort Drive (lower lot just off Highway 224), from 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Rosey's Car Seats for Kids is a nonprofit organization that has provided small children in need with car seats since fall 2004. They will be joined by Park City's Fire Department, Summit County Health Department and Utah Highway Patrol in raising funds needed to continue to provide car seats. The event also will educate families on the importance of not only using a car seat every time, but also the importance of using them correctly.

The fund-raiser consists of giveaways, a raffle and educational activities.
