Workers Compensation Fund has scheduled several safety seminars for November, including:
* "Return to Work," from 8:30 a.m. to noon Nov. 6.
* "OSHA Construction Safety 10-Hour (2 days)," 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 7 and 8:30 a.m. to noon Nov. 8.
* "Daily Dose--Train the Trainer," to learn how to communicate effectively with foreign-born workers while teaching safety, job skills and English, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Nov. 14.
* "Fall Protection Fundamentals," for learning to use the OSHA standards as a guide, 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Nov. 15.
* "Scissor Lift and Boom Safety" to gather the tools and information needed to train employees to become qualified operators of scissor lifts and boom lifts, 10:15 to 11:45 a.m. Nov. 15.
The seminars, most of which are free to WCF policyholders and for a small fee for nonpolicyholders, will be at the WCF offices, 392 E. 6400 South.
