Then & Now: Chapel to theater

Deseret News (Salt Lake City),  May 1, 2008

Built in 1890, this building was home to the 19th Ward for 90 years. In 1980, the church sold the building, located in the Marmalade District near the state Capitol, to Salt Lake City for $60,000. Famous for its "onion top," the chapel is now home to Salt Lake Acting Company and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
