The Tooele County Sheriff's Department continued to search for leads Saturday in the fatal shootings of 10 cows.

The reward has been raised to $10,000, and investigators were following up on several leads, the sheriff's department reported.

Rancher Martin Anderson of Grantsville says six beef cattle and a calf were found shot to death April 25, The Associated Press reported. Three other cows had to be euthanized because of their injuries, according to the AP.

In a separate case, four cows were fatally shot last week in Box Elder County. A regional dispatcher said no information would be available on that case until Monday.
