Spokane will host U.S. skating trials

Spokane will host the 2010 U.S. Figure Skating Championships, which will serve as the trials for the Vancouver Olympics. In a switch from previous years, nationals will run for 10 days, from Jan. 14-24, with champions to be crowned in 12 events.

The senior-level men's and pairs finals will be held during the first weekend, with the dance and women's finals on the second weekend.
