0 Comments | Deseret News (Salt Lake City), May 30, 2008
Scrapbooking fanatics are invited to participate in an all-night bash this evening to benefit children and adults with muscular dystrophy.
The third annual Crop for a Cure scrapbook event will start at 4 p.m. tonight and end at 10 a.m. Saturday. It's hosted by the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Utah, and the cost to participate ranges from $45 to $60.
More than 75 percent of the cost will directly benefit Utahns with muscular dystrophy. Vendors will also be on hand to sell discounted items, and some have also offered to donate proceeds to help people with the disease.
