Travis Alexander was a young, successful businessman, a well- known motivational speaker and a devout Mormon.
Alexander wanted to get married some day and have a family.
The 30-year-old Mesa man who had recently finished a self-help book to inspire others didn't get the chance.
On Monday, friends who hadn't heard from him in days discovered his body in his 4,500-square-foot home near Elliot and Meridian roads. He had trauma to his body and police are investigating it as a homicide.
