Why shouldn't our government support the Red Cross efforts? Our taxes support so many people throughout the world, it's time to turn our attention and our monies to our own disasters, which seem to be multiplying. How much help will be going to the Midwest flood survivors compared to what we pour into dozens of other countries each and every day? We are the only country willing to put the world's needs ahead of our own citizens.
