Course description: The front nine is mostly flat with some water hazards, waste bunkers and regular bunkers on several holes. The back nine dips into a valley below on the east side near the Jordan River and has a variety of holes that make you use every club in your bag. The back nine holes are surrounded by trees, mostly Russian olives and there are some wetlands you must navigate. Pro Alan James notes that you might see anything from a deer to a fox to an elk to a turtle on the course, not to mention cows or horses just across the fence on some holes.

Fun fact: Utah Jazz coach Jerry Sloan recently built a house near the 17th hole.

Holes to remember: No. 3 is a fun par-3 over water. No. 12 is a par-4 measuring nearly 500 yards from the back tees, which can be a killer when the wind is coming out of the north. No. 18 is a dogleg right featuring a slightly elevated tee, a waste bunker running along the right side for more than 200 yards and a bunker guarding the green.
