No justice for immigrants

Deseret News (Salt Lake City),  Jul 8, 2008

There is a British family in our neighborhood who came here to America to build a business and a better life. More wonderful people you will never meet. They have been trying to gain citizenship but took bad advice from a U.S. immigration attorney and are now denied even the slimmest of a chance.

This really upsets me as our borders are being overrun by illegal immigrants. We have a great, upstanding family who have been doing everything possible legally and following the law. They would contribute to our economy, pay taxes and provide community service. They must be gone by the end of July. Sen. Orrin Hatch met with them and said nothing could be done. This may be the greatest country in the world, but where is the justice it was built upon?
