S.L. airport director part of task force

Deseret News (Salt Lake City),  Jul 10, 2008

The American Association of Airport Executives has created an energy/air service task force to address the transforming landscape in air service related to higher fuel prices.

Maureen Riley, executive director of the Salt Lake City International Airport, and 70 other airport executives have been asked by the association to participate. The summit will be held on July 9 in Washington D.C. Energy experts, government officials and representatives from the aviation industry will also be in attendance.

The task force is being formed to provide recommendations for a national energy policy and possibly a national air service policy.
