Mormon Tabernacle Choir auditions canceled for 2008

For those who were planning on 2008 to finally make the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, theyll have to hold off one more year. The choir, which normally begins auditions every July, has pushed off this round thanks to a large group of new members and a fully staffed choir.

The choir will hold its usual audition cycle again in July 2009 for all voice parts. And if youve ever participated in an audition of this caliber, the extra year of preparation might be very useful.
Auditioning was the worst thing Ive ever been through, but the end was worth it, one member has said.
