Topic: RSS FeedLet's stop depending on oil
Deseret News (Salt Lake City), Jul 17, 2008
President Bush and I love high gas prices -- but for different reasons. When oil and gas were cheap, implementing alternative forms of energy wasn't very practical. With the cost of oil so high, that gap has started to close.
Bush loves high gas prices because it makes his buddies money. So instead of using this as an opportunity to move toward alternative forms of energy, the Bush administration is using the oil crisis to push for dropping drilling restrictions.
Don't let Bush get away with this! Let's use high gas prices as an opportunity to become less dependent on not just foreign oil but oil in general.
