Friedman's philosophy faulty
0 Comments | Deseret News (Salt Lake City), Jul 24, 2008
Thomas L. Friedman's latest foray into the field of philosophical journalism (July 2) makes me want to use words and call people names that are foreign to my (self-proclaimed) sweet disposition. With clenched teeth, I am merely going to mention that high gas prices do not fuel cars, neither does oil left in the ground. However, common sense tells me that crude oil that reaches the surface and goes through the refining process does. His endorsement of Al Gore's latest global warming hallucinations reaches new heights.
