TOOELE -- Larry H. Miller, the owner of Miller Motorsports Park, was named the recipient of the Lee Iacocca Award at the 2008 Mustang Club of America Grand National meet in Park City Sunday.

The Lee Iacocca Award is given for dedication to excellence in perpetuating an American automotive tradition and directly benefits the Iacocca Foundation to help find a cure for diabetes.

Miller, a diabetic, was chosen by the Mustang Club of America based on his devotion to motorsports and the creation of Miller Motorsports Park, the Ford Racing High Performance Driving School and the Ford Racing Mustang Challenge for the Miller Cup, as well as his longtime enthusiasm for Ford Mustangs and other Ford vehicles.

Bryan Miller accepted the award on his father's behalf.
