Vote for hero, not elitist

Deseret News (Salt Lake City), Sep 25, 2008

Roger Terry has his nose high in the air (Readers' Forum, Sept. 24). His definition of "intelligent" sounds elitist. I have no idea how he can look down on us poor rabble who only get "C's" with his nose so high. President Bush -- whom I am sure he is referring to -- graduated with honors from an elite East Coast school.

Barack Obama, who I am sure is the intelligent one he is referring to, surely has several things going for him: questionable real estate deals, associations with a known terrorist and the Rev. Wright, who curses America and all it stands for.

Give me John McCain, a hero with character, and small-town Sarah Palin any day, week or year.
