Bennett let us down
0 Comments | Deseret News (Salt Lake City), Dec 10, 2008
The vast majority of Utahns go to work every day in a sometimes desperate attempt to cover the expenses of their lives. They cannot afford the time or mental energy to examine the deep inner workings of the nation's economy, confer with the experts, man the watchtower and captain the ship. Not so Sen. Bob Bennett. He, in fact, was elected and appointed to do just that so that we would not have a banking and housing crisis that would allow scoundrels to abscond with unfathomable amounts of cash and leave the majority of Americans holding an empty bag. Can anyone tell me why he should not be removed from office and run out of town on a rail?
