Our beloved mother, wife, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, Beatrice Goff Heinhold, died peacefully on Sunday, January 4, 2009.
Bea was born on November 10, 1922 in Murray, Utah to Joseph H. Goff and Selma Erickson Goff. She graduated from Murray High School. Bea met the love of her life, Gordon A. Heinhold, at a dance. They were married on June 5, 1942.
Bea and Gordy started a family business in 1960, All Transmission Products, which they operated for 32 years. While the business was getting started, she worked various second jobs, from Hotel Utah to JC Penney's. Bea always had a strong work ethic that she passed on to her children. After retiring, Bea and Gordy enjoyed many opportunities to travel and experience new things. She was very athletic as a youth, which carried on into her adult life through bowling and golf. Bea loved to serve people. Her sense of humor and infectious smile drew people to her.
Bea is survived by her loving and dedicated husband, Gordy; their four children, Linda (Bill) Cahoon, LaMar (Karen), Larry (Ann Marie), Lee (Susan); nine grandchildren and nine great- grandchildren; sister, Grace Cross; brother, Clifton Goff; preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Joseph, Kenneth, Rulon, John.
Funeral services will be held in the Wasatch Lawn Chapel at 3401 Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, UT 84106 at 12 Noon on Friday, January 9, 2009. Prior to service there will be a viewing from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. for family and friends. Interment- Murray City Cemetery.
