The true church is born

A great beginning, no matter how earth-shaking, isn't the same as a "grand opening." There were no big banners over Peter Whitmer's home on April 6, 1830. No clamor, no fanfare. No "look at this" news coverage.
We mortals wear blinders. We can hardly measure or treasure what comes fresh from a higher place. Starting out small, it is easily missed. If we happen to notice at all, we will likely misunderstand. We have no reserved spot -- no category or name -- for the unheard of.
The fresh restoring of a true church wasn't like a presidential inauguration, with millions watching and listening. It wasn't like that for mortals, though in the heavens it was followed closely.
