St. Stephen's plans barbecue and sale

St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 5165 S. 3200 West, West Valley City, will hold a barbecue and a garage sale on Saturday, June 13, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

The public is invited. Proceeds from the garage sale and the cookout will be used for building repairs.

Utah Aglow to host 'Thunder in Valley'

Utah Aglow will host "Thunder in the Valley," a Southwest Regional Rally weekend June 26-28 at the Embassy Suites Hotel.

Aglow International is a transdenominational, international Christian women's organization. Special guest speakers include Jane Hansen Hoyt, Aglow president and CEO, and Diane Moder, director of Islamic awareness and education.

The cost is $75 for all sessions or $15 for one session.

Rummage sale to benefit charity

The Episcopal Church of the Resurrection, 1131 S. Main, Centerville, will host a "Junque" rummage and antique sale for charity on Friday, June 12, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and again on Saturday, June 13, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The sale is being conducted jointly with the Bountiful Soroptimist Club.

Donations of furniture, cloth, jewelry and other items are being accepted to prepare for the event.

Church to celebrate with piano concert

A free piano concert will be held at the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection, 1131 S. Main, Centerville, on Sunday, June 14, 7:30 p.m.

This concert is to celebrate the church's successful piano payoff challenge. The program will include music from Bach to Broadway.

'Organ Fest II' to air on KBYU Radio

KBYU Radio (FM-89.1) will sponsor "Organ Fest II," a special concert featuring organists from the Salt Lake Tabernacle -- Richard Elliott, Clay Christiansen, Andrew Unsworth, Bonnie Goodliffe and Linda Margetts -- and Douglas O'Neill, Cathedral of the Madeleine organist.

The concert is free and will be at the Cathedral of the Madeleine at 331 E. South, Friday, June 12, at 8 p.m.
