Crash survivor at King's English
0 Comments | Deseret News (Salt Lake City), Jun 14, 2009
When Norman Ollestad was an 11-year-old boy, the Cessna airplane he was traveling in with his father and his father's girlfriend crashed into the side of the San Gabriel Mountains, 8,000 feet elevation. He was the only one who survived to tell his story, which he has documented in his new book "Crazy for the Storm."
The book, which will be promoted at Starbucks stores across the country and has been picked up by Warner Brothers, tells of how Ollestad survived using the often-frightening and unusual experiences his father had already given him in the outdoors.
