Following a long battle with physical and mental illness a senseless tragedy has taken the life of our father, husband, son, brother, uncle and friend, Ryan P. Farnsworth. Born September 1, 1969 in Murray, UT to Ronald Dale and Betty Jean Barney Farnsworth. Married Jennifer Conover August 17, 1991 in the Jordan River Temple. Graduate of U of U. Devoted member of the LDS church, he served an LDS mission in New Hampshire, Manchester and Nevada, Las Vegas missions.
Ryan loved the outdoors, especially with his children at Topaz Mountain. He loved to collect coins, stamps, going rock hunting, metal detecting, and was an avid golfer.

He is survived by his wife Jennifer, children: Tyler, Nathan, Kelly, Jacob, and Zachary Farnsworth; parents; brothers: Ronnie and Russell; sisters: Jody F. (Adam) Uribe, Amy Farnsworth, Janice (Michael) Croff; grandmother: Faye Barney; sister in law Stephanie Farnsworth McDonald. Preceded in death by brother Rick, Grandpa and Grandma Farnsworth and Grandpa Barney.
Funeral services will be held Thursday June 25th at 11:00 a.m. at the River Ridge 1st Ward chapel 10200 South 1300 West. Viewings will be held Wednesday, June 24th from 5-8 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Pkwy (10600 S.) and Thursday from 9:30- 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment Redwood Memorial.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in behalf of Ryan's children to JSSV at 1007 W. South Jordan Pkwy., So. Jordan, UT 84095.
