Weather for the festival is expected to be in the 80s and 90s, except on Friday when a storm is expected to hit. Salt Lake City has seen 16 days of recordable precipitation this month. A storm Friday would tie the record, which was set in 1967. The 33rd annual arts festival will open today at noon and runs through Sunday.
