Long Island attorney appointed chair of Internal Revenue Service

Karen Tenenbaum, a partner of the law firm of Karen J. Tenenbaum, was appointed chair of the Internal Revenue Service liaison committee.
The committee is comprised of attorneys and accountants, representing numerous professional organizations on Long Island whose practices require frequent dealings with the IRS. The purpose of the committee is to foster good relations and open communication between the practitioner community and the IRS.
Tenenbaum also serves as the co-chair of the joint committee of attorneys and accountants of the New York State Society of CPAs, Nassau Chapter.
