Ruskin Moscou Faltischek has been retained to represent Sales Lead Management, a Uniondale-based software company that caters to the brokerage industry, in its intellectual property and corporate and securities matters.

The firm helped SLM complete a bridge loan for $500,000 and oversaw activities as the company launched its first product "The Brokers E-Vantage" Sales Lead Management System. They system is designed to increase the efficiency of lead generation and conversion for brokers.

"The financial brokerage industry is highly dependent on the success of the individual broker's ability to follow up on leads, establish credibility, communicate value and close the sale," said Peter Cohen, SLM president and chief operating officer. "We can help our customers beat the industry average for converting leads into clients and save them money in the process. Even a marginal improvement in effectiveness of a broker's lead conversion rate would provide substantial revenue gains for the brokers and their firms."

Cohen added that Ruskin Moscou would serve a key role in guiding it through the "minefields typically faced by start-up companies."
