Ad agency Stop The Bleeding Inc. has served up a new TV and print campaign for The Pine Island Grill at The Crescent Beach Club in Bayville.
The Bridgehampton-based agency's ads poke fun at other restaurants' service and servings.
TV spots are airing on CNN, Fox News Channel, A&E, Lifetime, News 12, TNT and several other channels.
Print ads are running in Newsday, The New York Times, The New Yorker, Long Island Golfer and Long Island Business News.
The campaign portrays chefs, waitresses and behind-the-scenes kitchen staff answering questions at un-named restaurants. In one spot, restaurant personnel are asked how they can serve good dinners at low prices.
"Small plates make the portions look bigger," is the response.
"By the time I get to them," viewers are told in another ad, "they're so hungry they don't notice what it tastes like."
The scenes are followed by shots of the Pine Island Grill complete with panoramic views to sumptuous portions.
TV and print ads carry the new Pine Island Grill tag line - "On the water, and out of this world!"
