Computer game maker Acclaim to delay filing SEC report

Long Island Business News, Aug 1, 2003 by LIBN Staff

Computer game maker Acclaim Entertainment said it would delay issuing its amended annual report filing after the Securities and Exchange Commission informed the company it was reviewing its preliminary proxy filing.

In July, Acclaim and three other computer game software makers disclosed that the SEC had made inquiries in connection with an investigation of business practices in the computer game software industry.

Acclaim executives said they planned to include in the amended annual report any SEC comments about executive compensation from the proxy statement, according to Reuters.
