LI Volunteer Center collecting prom, bridesmaid dresses
Long Island Business News, Apr 23, 2004 by Ryan McCormick
The Long Island Volunteer Center is collecting new and gently used prom and bridesmaid dresses, as well as accessories, for its 10th annual Prom Boutique.
All collections will be distributed to girls from families on Long Island that can't absorb the expense of a new gown for a prom, sweet- sixteen birthday party or graduation event.
The Volunteer Center will collect gowns at drop-off points in Brookville, Hempstead, Riverhead, Ronkonkoma and Roosevelt through June. For more information, call (516) 564-5482.
