Glen Cove-based Webb Institute names new president

Robert C. Olsen of the U.S. Coast Guard was named president of the Webb Institute and will assume his new post in July. Glen Cove-based Webb Institute offers degrees in naval architecture and marine engineering. Olsen is a 34-year veteran of the Coast Guard, has commanded four cutters and is presently the superintendent of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.
