Chemistry research scientist Yong Lu was named patent agent at Garden City-based intellectual property law firm Scully, Scott, Murphy & Presser.

Lu worked as a scientist at the Sanxing Chemical Co. in China, at Notre Dame and in Pfizer's global research and development department. He is also a member of the American Chemical Society, the American Bar Association and the American Intellectual Property Law Association.
At Scully Scott, Lu will help to prepare patent applications and prosecute in patent-related cases.
